Pursuant to Fla. Stat. § 189.069(2)(a)(16), the meeting agenda and any materials available in an electronic format, excluding confidential and exempt information, must remain on the website for at least one year after the meeting. Older agendas, minutes and all other CDD information, including public records request, are available by contacting the District Manager.
The CDD’s budget is a financial plan that serves as the basis for decision-making about and management of expenditures. The approved budget strives to provide program services at the levels established by the Board during the budgeting process. The budget must also be flexible to account for unexpected events and expenditures; otherwise, other program areas may suffer. The CDD is also required to complete a financial disclosure and an audit on an annual basis. The district’s fiscal year is from October 1 through September 30. Pursuant to Fla. Stat. § 189.016 (4), final adopted budgets must be posted within 30 days after adoption and remain on website for two years. Pursuant to Fla. Stat. § 189.016 (7), budget amendments must be posted within five days after adoption and remain on the website for two years. Pursuant to Fla. Stat. § 189.069(2)(a)(12), the website must also contain the most recent audit report for most recent completed fiscal year. To request a final adopted budget or amended budget more than two years old or an audit report for a prior fiscal year, please contact the District Manager.
